Security Information Service, Czech counterintelligence department. The BIS was grounded on 1.1.93 after the transformation of the FBIS under the lead of S.Devaty. It was planned to work for one year, but it continued to operate.In may 1993, Devaty proclaimed he was bugged at his apartment. That caused serious troubles. In summer 93, the BIS was struck by the Wallis affair. After the racketeering of Mr. Kozeny, Devaty proclaimed that he's no longer capable to control his people and that they could collect information about anybody.
