CIO

Czechoslovak Intelligence Office

Founded in 1950 as a office of the MI-6 (SIS). Led by Francis Ed Keary and K.Prochazka. It served to gain information from fruitful sources behind the Iron Curtain. It was a good idea, but a high officer (K.Zbytek) didn't get on with Prochazka, so he began to work for the Czechoslovak StB in mid-50s. Zbytek was revealed in 1961 (or 1962) and CIO was dismissed. (The Paris agency was taken over by the CIA in 1962)
