CIA's DCI
Began as OSS advisor in secretary office of W.Donovan. Headed the Institute for business planing, where he gained experienced in report processing. As a friend of R.Reagan he got into his election executive and 1981 was named the DCI (Director of Central Intelligence, head of the CIA and the whole US espionage community) . The Congress didn't like their friendship and Casey was criticized at all occasions, because Casey didn't keep them informed about the covert actions. During his time, CIA lost some of its prestige, influence and Casey ordered various reorganization of the "Firm". The Nicaragua revolution support affair ended during his time. He believed, that it could stop the communism. He suffered two heart attacks, had undergo a brain surgery and had to resign. He died four months later.Recommended books:
