CIA's DCI
Starred to work for the OSS as very young and was stationed in France. He joined the paradesant invasion into Norway. After the war he changed to CIA and in 1953 was send to Rome. He supported the democrats in the struggle against communists. For a short period he led the CIA's Saigon branch. He headed the Far East division in 1963-68 where he was able to use his Saigon experience. In 1972 he became the executive chief of CIA and a year later he became the DCI. He was much worse in directing as acting outdoor. After the Watergate he decided to clean up the CIA. He tried to defend the Firm, but after the election of president Ford, he was called off. George Bush followed his place of the DCI.Recommended books:
