American spy, active for USSR
During her studies, she became more and more fascinated by the thoughts of communism. Later, she began to work for the Department of Justice. She gained information about tracing suspected Soviet citizens. As soon as she was contacted by the other side, she began to hand over those information to the KGB officer Valentin Gubichev, who worked under the head of the UN. The FBI revealed that collaboration and in the 1950 trial Gubitchev was banished and Coplon got a lifelong sentence, but was released after her appeal.Recommended books:
