Russian spy
He was send to New York with a false passport in 1952. He had to work for R.Abel. After family problems he began to drink and was no longer able to complete his duties. After Abel discovered that Hayhanen had kept the money of the transactions, he tried to send him back to Moscow. But on his way back he requested asylum at the Paris American Embassy. His defection revealed Abel and Reino was amnestied. He vanished from public life then. Died in 1961 in a car crash.Recommended books:
