Hungarian general major
Historian. Jailed in 1951 for suspected conspiracy, 1956 chief of the Hungarian national guard. After the revolution he had fled to Austria and later to America. 1968-82 professor on the City University in New York. Returned to Hungary after the fall of the regime and since 1990 is a member of the Hungarian parliament.Recommended books:
