East German spy
When a high BfV officer, Tiedge, was disclosed in 1985, the minister had to agree that a lot of damage had been done. Tiedge was the East Germany counterintelligence section chief. Not only did he inform Berlin about the activities of his section, he did blow up two agents in the East and alarmed three suspected STASI men.Recommended books:
