Less information is known about this secret service due to its isolation and odd opinion, that both, the Russians and Americans, are evil. Although Albania was the last state to acknowledge China in 1949, in the sixties there was significant cooperation with
China, which used Albania as a kind of a ear in Europe. Radio Tirana not only supported Chinese politics, but was responsible for the monitoring of radio relations of the neighboring states. Also their reconnaissance of submarine movement in the North and the Mediterranean area are known. Albania developed big pressure against any home opposition, what led to the shooting in the politburo and the replacement of the president by R.Alia, who remained in his position till 1992.
