The DINA secret services became known after the Pinochet's revolution. It was better known as a secret police, which was responsible for the death of over thousand people. DINA assassinated the vice-president O.Letellier on 21.9.76 in the US. Euginio Berrios was suspected of this crime, a Chilean biologist and chemist. He developed a gas that left no clues and was deadly. After the re-opening of the file, Berrios was missing since the fall '92 and his trace ended in Uruguay. The Uruguayan president interrupted his visit to England and returned home, recalling the intelligence chief, but Berrios was still missing. Maybe forever, because he was supposed to deliver very important evidence in the case of operation Condor (bribes from Chilean, Argentinean and Uruguayan policemen).
