Israel was founded as an independent state in 1948 by the splitting of Palestine into two parts. So the Israeli secret service developed of the Palestinian one. A secret army - Haganah was founded, which fought against the British supremacy, and a special intelligence service (Mossad Le Aliyah Beth, Shin Beth 'Shabak') founded in 1948 by the
Prime Minister D. Ben-Gurion. Haganah was transformed into a normal army and
Mossad with Shabak developed further. Later, the army intelligence was added - Aman (Modiin). By the cooperation with the US, Israel is involved in the actions of British
SIS, French and German services against international terrorism. Cooperation with the
RSA is known (in atomic research).
