Italy

After the end of the Second world war, the Italian secret service was reorganized many times. Nowadays the SIFAR, SISDE, SISME and SISMI organizations are active. Some personal changes were done, because of revealing connections to the Mafia. The services worked mainly against the Soviet Union and their allies. But, the other side was more successful. In the year 1967 G.Rinaldi was revealed, who made many observations of NATO bases in Italy and Spain. His wife and driver were involved too. This is connected with the departure of the Russian diplomat Jurij Pavlenko.
