At the begin of 20th century the leaders began to create a secret police to control 'the security of the nation'. CEKA took the lead and was consequent. The result was over 250,000 dead people. Nor their successors
GPU, NVKD and KGB didn't brake the tradition. Beside of these 'achievements' the services had their blow ups. In 1927 they lost all they networks throughout the world. Most known actions are the mass arrestments of kulaks in 1928 (over 10 mil. people); the organization of the famine in Ukraine in 1932; the liquidation of the opponents of the
NKVD in 1936 and mass movements of nations. After Stalin's dead in 1953 the situation cooled down and Chruschov left several methods of his predecessor behind. Nevertheless the
KGB continued to 'protect the nation against bad imperialism'. These aggressors ended in 'psychuskas' - special hospital branches, or in Siberia camps - gulags.
After the rise of M.Gorbachov, secret services began to believe that their position is attacked and they led the revolt in 1991. After the founding of
AFB, the legend of KGB is still being there. And it scares all from the old satellites to Boris Yeltsin.
